- After installation, the vehicle must be coded using Coding Dongle 43526
- no wiring in the interior necessary
- Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 3 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Midline "5" - Highline "7") required for "Soft Close" is Highline
- To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
- Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
- Here is the location of? "Question mark" crucial
- ? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
- ? = 5 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
- ? = 7 = compatible for retrofitting "Soft Close"
- eg: 4M0959793X / 4M0959792X are suitable, 4M0959593X / 4M0959592X are to be replaced
